AOM PRAYER REMINDER AOM PRAYER REMINDER (Week of prayer and fasting- March 1-8)

1. REGISTRATION APPROVED: Let us praise the Lord for His faithfulness in helping the registration to be approved. We are now only waiting for the official letter.

2. NEW TEAM POSSIBILITIES: Scott and Lisa are meeting with 4 different couples/individuals this week concerning joining the team for Mozambique or helping us find new team members in their Missions School. The Harris' have found some wonderful sold out Christians who are already disciplers. Pray that the right couples hear from the Lord and heed His call to the Harvest Field.

3. MEN AND WOMEN OF PEACE: Continue to lift up all the men and women of peace God has in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Angola. These are the key people who are bridges into their communities, who will open up their homes to others, and who will be disciplers of others. Pray that God will stir their hearts up to want God and prepare them to receive the good news.

AOM PRAYER UPDATE: February 2008 1. AOM MOZAMBIQUE REGISTRATION: Please pray for the new person in charge of granting religious organizations their non-profit registration. She has indicated that she is willing to move forward on AOM's official registration. This registration will enable the Harris and Fuentes families to enter the country and obtain resident visas under AOM. It will make everything we want to do in the country easier if we have official status in the country. Pray that favor will be shown to us, so this "bump" in the road is removed.

2. NEW TEAM MEMBERS: Scott and Lisa have made several wonderful connections with Brazilian couples who are very interested in coming to Mozambique to work with us. They are already disciplers and most are in house churches. Pray that God will open the flood gates for 8 disciplers to join the Mozambique team. God knows the ones He wants, so let us ask with Him to bring them into the harvest by the end of this year.

AOM PRAYER AND PRAISE November 2007 1. OFF TO BRAZIL: Please pray for the Harris family as they leave today the 8th for Brazil and 6 months of Portuguese language studies. Pray that they will be protected throughout their time there and that God will grant them the ability to supernaturally learn to speak Portuguese fluently.

2. BUSY IN THE STATES: Pray for Allen and Janelle as they visit supporters and board members in the States. AOM will have their annual retreat over the weekend of Nov. 16-18th. They set aside this weekend each year to plan for the new year and encourage their missionaries.

3. WINDING UP IN MOZAMBIQUE: Pray for Gustavo and Bia Fuentes as they wind up their 9 months of ministry in Inhambane Province, Mozambique. They will be returning to the States to fund raise for their return to Mozambique in late April '08. They are discipling a number of individuals and groups, some of which are developing into House Churches.

4. HUNGER IN ZIMBABWE: Pray for all those in Zimbabwe who are facing increasing problems finding enough food to keep their families going. The first shipment of 1.2 tons of Soya food supplements arrived in Bulawayo for the orphans families. They also have been given some corn to grind into maize meal. Pray that the suffering of an inflation rate of over 20,000% will help everyone find a new level of trusting in God as their Provider.

July 2007 Prayer Requests 1. Pray that the new believers in Mozambique will
continue growing in their new faith and that
they will become evangelistic and share it with
other family members and friends.

2. Pray for Gustavo and Bia as they train the new
house churches, especially that God will give
them wisdom and insight as they train and
build up solid leaders in Mozambique.

3. Pray for the Harris family as the decision to relocate
to Mozambique is being made. Pray
that they will be able to sell their house in
Duiwelskloof. This will free them to move to
Mozambique.

4. Pray for the country of Zimbabwe as it continues
to spiral into total economic collapse.
Pray specifically that the Christians will remain
strong.

AOM PRAYER UPDATE: OFF TO MOZAMBIQUE 1. FUENTES ARE OFF TO MOZAMBIQUE: Allen and Janelle are taking Gustavo and Bia Fuentes to Maxixe to get them settled into the rent house. They all will be returning to the three families of that were met during the recent prayer walks. Pray that these families will have a safe trip, that the Fuentes will be able to settle in quickly, and that the families they will be sharing Christ with will be open to the Gospel. The Averys will return to Tzaneen on Saturday. Pray for their safe travel.

2. MOZAMBIQUE CLEARANCE FOR OUR DOCTORS: Pray that the approval and clearance of the two doctors and dentist will have been completed. The Averys and Fuentes will, Lord willing, take the approval papers to Inhambane Health Department so that everything will be in place for the Medical Clinic at the end of May.

3. MOZAMBIQUE REGISTRATION: On Wednesday, Allen and Scott will be signing the "final" papers for the registration of AOM as an official Religious Organization in Maputo. Pray that all the paper work will be completed and that we will be able to be officially recognized.

4. LAST LANGUAGE CLASSES: Scott and Allen will attend intensive Level Two classes in Portuguese in Johannesburg from next Monday-Thursday. Pray that God will help their "grey matter" to be open and receptive to all the new vocabulary and grammar.
